Job Summary

This role seeks an innovative problem-solver to join a team in Waltershausen, focusing on the conception, programming, and commissioning of control systems for specialized machinery. The PLC Programmer will be instrumental in the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept design with customers and internal teams to final commissioning both in-house and at the client site. Key responsibilities include designing and programming PLC and HMI systems using technologies like Siemens TIA, Beckhoff, and Opcon+, standardizing programming practices, and integrating control systems with higher-level systems such as databases and MES. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience, strong analytical skills for root cause analysis, and proficiency in English is desirable.
