Job Summary
This role involves shaping the future of infrastructure planning by taking responsibility for the holistic environmental assessment of complex construction projects, particularly within the railway and transportation sectors. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive environmental surveys, including biotope type mapping, and floristic and faunistic surveys. A core part of the job is creating critical environmental documentation such as Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Landscape Management Plans (LBP), Species Protection Contributions (AFB), and FFH compatibility checks, ensuring compliance with nature, environment, and species protection laws. This position requires a background in Biology, Landscape Ecology, or Planning, proficiency in GIS applications, and deep familiarity with relevant environmental legislation.
