Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Substation Automation Technician to join a medium-sized engineering firm specializing in comprehensive technical expertise, particularly within critical infrastructure like rail and energy supply. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical parameterization and configuration of SICAM systems for energy grid automation. Key daily tasks include on-site commissioning, providing customer support, troubleshooting system failures, and ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of critical infrastructure. You will also be involved in planning the technical implementation of customer projects and coordinating closely with the project management team. The ideal candidate holds an advanced qualification as a Technician in Automation (Energy Supply focus), possesses strong knowledge of low, medium, or high voltage systems, and exhibits excellent analytical skills for effective problem-solving. This position requires fluency in German (B2+) and a willingness to travel for on-site work, offering a permanent contract and varied, challenging projects in high-technology sectors.
