Job Summary

This role involves serving as a System Administration Specialist within the Information and Communication Technology department of the Kassel Fire Department. The specialist will be crucial in designing, planning, and continuously evolving the IT infrastructure, data networks, and control center systems, including managing associated standards and project control. Key responsibilities include providing Second- and Third-Level Support for software infrastructure, managing system operations, and developing technical digital information and deployment solutions. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics or comparable IT field, or vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration with extensive professional experience. Strong knowledge of diverse IT technologies (Windows, Linux, Networking, Virtualization, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and a Class B driving license are mandatory, along with a readiness for security clearance and flexible working hours.
