Job Summary
This role involves active participation in research and development projects focused on metallurgy and corrosion. The Materials Engineering / Metallography Engineer will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and evaluation of metallographic examinations, as well as conducting mechanical-technological and corrosion tests. A key part of the job is the professional assessment, documentation, and reporting of results according to internal and external testing standards. Furthermore, the role requires coordination of material logistics and alignment with internal and external partners regarding sample production. Candidates should hold a degree in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Chemistry with a materials technology focus, possess technical understanding, and be interested in experimental lab work. Good written and spoken German and English skills are essential for success in this technically demanding and collaborative environment.
