Job Summary

This role is centered on the planning, programming, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems (BMA) in strict accordance with Austrian ÖNORM safety standards. The Electrical Engineering Technician will be responsible for creating technical concepts and programming the systems, followed by independent, on-site commissioning and regular functional testing at customer locations. A crucial part of the job involves systematic troubleshooting, identifying root causes of technical issues, and ensuring swift, lasting repairs. Furthermore, the technician handles the handover of completed systems and provides comprehensive customer training on operation and maintenance. Candidates must possess a completed electrical engineering qualification (e.g., HTL or equivalent vocational training), demonstrate strong customer orientation, and be capable of independent work. This position offers a dynamic balance between technical planning in the office and practical implementation on the construction site, ensuring no two days are the same.

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship, Technical College, or University of Applied Sciences degree)

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or relevant technical field
  • Experience in system commissioning and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems (BMA) (advantageous)
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
