Job Summary
This role involves the crucial administration and support of IT systems for the Kassel Chamber of Skilled Crafts, a key organization supporting 17,500 member businesses in North, East, and Central Hesse. The IT Administrator will be jointly responsible for managing chamber-specific applications, databases, and the printing environment, while also serving as the primary contact for 1st and 2nd-level user support. Key responsibilities include implementing new hardware and software, maintaining and setting up employee workstations, and collaborating with external service providers and internal departments. The ideal candidate possesses a structured, solution-oriented approach, strong technical knowledge of IT systems and network technologies, and excellent service-mindedness. This position offers a secure, permanent contract with compensation based on the TV-L tariff agreement (E9a), providing public service benefits and ample opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
