Job Summary

The Risk Data & Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role within the Group Risk Management team, focusing on empowering decision-makers with accurate and actionable insights. This involves collaborating closely with risk managers and executive leadership to translate strategic goals and regulatory needs into robust data and analytics solutions. Key responsibilities include architecting and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrating data from diverse sources, and designing interactive BI dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI for effective risk monitoring. A significant focus will be on driving innovation by modernizing the data infrastructure, migrating analytics to cloud platforms (like Snowflake), and leveraging AI, intelligent agents, and automation to enhance capabilities and productivity. The ideal candidate must ensure rigorous data quality and controls in line with the Group's data governance framework.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a plus.

Experience

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing data architectures using modern ETL and automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience designing BI dashboards.
  • Professional experience ensuring rigorous data quality and controls.

Additional

  • Must be resident in Switzerland. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
