Job Summary

The Nordwest Handel AG is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join their IT & Process Management team. This full-time, permanent role involves the comprehensive management and maintenance of the SAP system landscape, including planning and coordinating software updates and upgrades. Day-to-day responsibilities include system performance monitoring, implementing security policies, and performing performance tuning to ensure optimal operation. The administrator will be crucial in analyzing and resolving technical issues, managing backup and recovery processes for data integrity, and creating technical documentation. This role requires close collaboration with other IT departments and business units, technical support provision, and the coordination of external hosting service providers.
