Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive financial management and controlling responsibilities within Department III of the Havelland District Administration, a major regional employer. The officer will be instrumental in ensuring sound financial health by managing the overall budget responsibility for the department, which covers diverse areas including HR, organization, disaster protection, and environmental protection. Key tasks include preparing annual financial plans for both operating and investment budgets, conducting rigorous budget monitoring, performing variance analyses (actual vs. plan), and providing strategic decision support to department leadership. The position requires a degree in Business Administration or equivalent, strong knowledge of municipal accounting (Doppik), and expertise in building and maintaining centralized controlling systems.
