Job Summary

This role involves leading the Climate and Mobility team in the City of Castrop-Rauxel, focusing on developing and steering strategies and projects related to climate protection, climate adaptation, and future-oriented mobility. The Team Lead will manage up to four employees, drive the implementation of climate protection activities, and oversee the city's mobility development. A core responsibility is multi-project management, process design, and interdisciplinary coordination of all related initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Sciences, or a related field, and brings at least five years of professional experience in project management and strategy development, coupled with strong communication and leadership skills necessary for managing teams and engaging with political bodies and citizens.
