Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated Chemical Technician to join a dynamic environment, offering an immediate, permanent contract starting at €18.45 per hour. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the comprehensive handling of raw materials, including receiving bulk deliveries from silo vehicles (requiring sampling and lab release procedures) and handling materials in sacks, drums, and containers. A major part of the job includes the loading and dispatch of hazardous goods tank trucks, strictly adhering to dangerous goods regulations, which involves liaising with freight forwarders and marketing teams and completing extensive checklists. The technician will also be responsible for preparing catalyst batches, managing inventory (stocktaking) of raw materials and finished products in collaboration with controlling, ordering packaging materials, and handling various documentation and booking systems. The ideal candidate must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Technician or equivalent professional experience, basic computer skills (MS Office), and B1 German language proficiency.
