Job Summary

This role involves executing and documenting standardized radiochemical analyses according to internal specifications. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing samples through processes such as drying, grinding, ashing, and microwave digestion, followed by the separation of radionuclides using established analytical procedures. The technician will also perform fundamental measurements utilizing Alpha, Beta, and Gamma spectrometry, and assist in the planning and organizational implementation of analysis orders. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, professional experience focused on the preparative processing of radioactive substances, and the necessary medical fitness and security clearance for radiation protection duties and work within controlled areas.
