Job Summary
The City of Leimen is seeking a highly qualified Head of Department to lead the Central Public Order Office on a full-time, permanent basis. This critical leadership role involves overseeing essential municipal functions, including local and district police tasks, regulation of trade and hospitality establishments, management of the road traffic authority, and administration of the municipal fine/penalty system. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 20 employees, ensuring effective enforcement, and playing a key role in developing and maintaining the city's mobility concept. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Public Management or equivalent administrative qualifications, possess proven leadership experience, strong assertiveness, and excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in relevant administrative law and MS Office applications. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Public Management or comparable degree; OR Completed training as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt); OR Completed training as an Administrative Assistant/Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellter/Verwaltungswirt)
