Job Summary

This role is for an EMC Test Engineer specializing in the Automotive sector, focusing on optimizing the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) behavior of electronic components and systems within vehicles. Core responsibilities include developing concepts for cost-efficient measurement and testing strategies, performing rigorous EMC qualifications compliant with both customer norms and statutory requirements, and actively simulating and evaluating system behavior in the automotive environment. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining testing equipment and setups within the EMC laboratory. Ideal candidates hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, or Measurement Technology, and possess practical experience from working in an EMC lab. Familiarity with international EMC norms (IEC, EN) is highly desirable.
