Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Function Engineer specializing in Mobility systems, focusing on raising technologies to the next level and driving future innovations. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent development and documentation of complex system functions, ensuring compliance with safety standards like ISO 26262. The engineer will plan, execute, and evaluate trials and tests, derive optimization measures, and specify function modules for subsequent software implementation, coordinating closely with various interface partners to ensure timely and specification-compliant delivery. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics/Control Engineering, coupled with practical experience in modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink. A deep understanding of the V-Model and functional safety processes according to ISO 26262 is essential.
