This role is perfect for a skilled Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering and Automation, focusing specifically on exciting shipbuilding projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design, dimensioning, and conceptualization of electrical components for maritime applications. You will be crucial in ensuring project success by conducting functional tests before delivery, creating detailed technical specifications, and managing system integration, including installation and safety documentation. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, possesses experience in electrical planning and project management, and ideally has knowledge of shipbuilding systems. Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory, and familiarity with PLC control systems and EPLAN is a significant advantage.
