Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Software Packaging Specialist focused on connecting people and technology by ensuring efficient and reliable software distribution across corporate networks. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating, managing, and distributing software packages using industry-standard tools like InstallShield, WiX, AdminStudio, and SCCM. The specialist will be crucial in automating installations and updates across both Windows and Linux environments using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Batch), conducting thorough testing and validation of packages, and performing detailed troubleshooting and error analysis related to deployment issues. Candidates must possess a degree or comparable qualification in IT, at least two years of professional experience in software packaging, and strong knowledge of operating systems, Active Directory, and network management. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and fluency in German, with good English proficiency also required.
