Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in Medical Technology to ensure existing medical devices comply with critical regulatory standards, including IEC 60601, ISO 14971, and the MDR. Day-to-day tasks involve rigorous analysis and adaptation of devices, coupled with comprehensive Requirements Engineering encompassing specification, verification, and gathering of technical needs. A core responsibility is the design and implementation of hardware solutions, including creating schematics and layouts using Altium Designer, with a strong focus on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). You will be responsible for meticulous documentation under quality management systems and will collaborate closely with Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs teams. The ideal candidate holds a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Medical Technology, and possesses knowledge of safety-relevant electronics and regulatory requirements (MDR). Professional experience in the medical technology sector is highly desirable. Excellent proficiency in German (B2+ level) and good English skills are prerequisites for this challenging and dynamic position.
