Job Summary

This leadership role involves strategically managing and continuously developing the IT End-Device Administration department, which is crucial for providing stable and powerful IT services to approximately 30,000 users within the German Pension Insurance Federation (DRV Bund). The Head of Administration will oversee the selection, procurement, and rollout of standardized IT end-devices (hardware and software) across the entire organization. Key responsibilities include leading and managing approximately 60 internal and external employees, driving change processes, and steering the department using key performance indicators and statistics. Candidates must possess a scientific university degree (Master's or equivalent) in IT or Administrative Sciences, coupled with extensive leadership experience, proven expertise in process optimization, and deep knowledge of IT workplace hardware and secure network infrastructures. The position requires strong decision-making skills, organizational talent, and the willingness to undertake occasional, multi-day business trips across Germany.
