Job Summary

This role involves working as a CI/CD Engineer for Airbus Defence and Space in Ulm, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of Git-based CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Day-to-day tasks include integrating Bitbucket and handling Pull/Merge Requests for C++ applications, consolidating existing Jenkins jobs, and migrating from Subversion to modern Git workflows. A critical component is the implementation and automation of various testing types (Unit, Integration, System, Regression) within the pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, possess several years of experience with CI/CD principles, Jenkins, and Git, and demonstrate strong expertise in Docker containerization.
