Job Summary
This role is for a proactive and highly reliable Technical Account Manager to join a small, dedicated team within SCHMID, an innovative Swiss technology company specializing in medical and high-tech solutions. The core focus involves actively cultivating relationships with new prospects through rigorous cold acquisition, alongside managing existing key accounts. Responsibilities include preparing detailed calculations, technical concepts, and offers, as well as initiating and overseeing project planning and delegation during kick-off meetings. You will serve as the technical liaison, collaborating internally to develop appropriate project solutions based on client requirements. This challenging position requires a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused individual who is interested in modern technology and is willing to travel occasionally (30-40%) for customer visits and trade fairs within Switzerland.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as a Designer/Draftsman (Federal VET Diploma) or similar, combined with advanced professional qualification such as Sales Specialist (Federal Diploma of Higher Education), Technical Business Specialist (Higher Technical College), or a BSc in Business Administration.
Experience
- First professional experience in sales
