Job Summary
This leadership role involves the technical and disciplinary management of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring high plant availability through effective coordination of maintenance activities. The Head of Electrical Maintenance is responsible for assessing the condition and damage patterns of machinery, managing external service providers, and overseeing personnel deployment and work preparation. A key focus is guaranteeing compliance with safety regulations, including occupational safety, accident prevention, fire, and environmental protection, through comprehensive staff training. Furthermore, the position drives continuous process improvement and the strategic development of the maintenance department. Candidates must possess a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, combined with relevant professional experience in industrial maintenance and proven leadership skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification, combined with further training as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience in a leadership capacity
- Several years of relevant professional experience in maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing industrial company
- Experience in handling norms and regulations within the professional environment

- Switching authorization for 20 kV systems (desirable) or willingness to obtain further training.
