Job Summary

This role involves working as a Functional Electrical Design Designer at the Manching site for Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and detailing of functional schematics and wiring diagrams for complex electrical systems, including the selection and specification of components (cables, connectors, sensors, actuators) based on performance and environmental requirements. Key responsibilities also include creating technical drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation, while ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD) and internal quality standards. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Structural) is crucial for system integration and interface compatibility. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possess several years of professional experience in functional electrical design, and be proficient in both German and English, with experience using electrical CAD tools like Aucotec: Engineering Base or Siemens Capital.
