Job Summary

This role involves acting as an Embedded Software Developer for Airbus Defence and Space, focusing on implementing and validating software for airborne systems, specifically the DeckFinder product. Day-to-day tasks include writing unit tests, performing software and hardware integration, and ensuring compliance through validation and verification (V&V) processes up to flight testing. The developer will produce test reports, manage release planning, and liaise with systems engineering to capture and define high- and low-level software requirements. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, several years of experience in IT/Information Systems, strong knowledge of C, and detailed experience in embedded software development (scheduler, U-Boot, firmware, I/O).
