Job Summary

This role involves specialized Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) verification testing for large, complex, and fully operational systems, adhering to national and international standards, specifically within the aerospace sector for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of test instrumentation, process control, data acquisition, and analysis applications. A key part of the job includes operating Europe's most powerful open-field High-Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) test facility. Additionally, the role requires IT and network administration for the facility, including cybersecurity aspects, supporting software maintenance and development, and assisting with the design and creation of 3D printed objects. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, solid experience in IT/Network Administration, and proficiency in German and English.
