Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Development Engineer focusing on Electronics for Naval Solutions at the renowned client HENSOLDT in Oberkochen. Day-to-day responsibilities include the full lifecycle development of complex hardware components, specifically power electronics, mixed analog-digital circuits (OpAmp, ADC, DAC, FPGA, Power-MOSFET), and switched-mode power supplies (SMPS). You will be responsible for designing multilayer PCB layouts, ensuring adherence to strict standards (IPC, VDE, MIL, EMC), and coordinating mechatronic and software interfaces. Key tasks also involve integrating electronic systems for video processing and communication (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) and creating comprehensive manufacturing documentation. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical or Communications Technology and several years of experience bringing complex electronic assemblies to series production, ideally within the military or maritime sector. Proficiency in C programming basics, CAD tools like Pulsonix, and knowledge of development methodologies like the V-Model are essential for success in this demanding, standards-driven engineering role.
