Production Planner / AWACS | Fertigungssteuerer / AWACS (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves working as a Production Planner for the renowned Airbus Defence and Space, focusing specifically on AWACS aircraft maintenance and production processes at the Manching site. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating production orders, ensuring material availability, and iteratively updating manufacturing documentation (material components, production aids). The specialist will secure smooth maintenance operations by timely scheduling, retrieving, and correcting work orders for both planned and unplanned activities. A key part of the job is monitoring aircraft progress, managing configuration status based on initial input, and adjusting work orders accordingly. The ideal candidate must have a completed vocational training in aircraft electronics, mechanics, or construction, coupled with several years of professional experience in aircraft construction and maintenance. Strong German language skills and good English skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Office and beneficial knowledge of SAP (OPAL) and AWACS aircraft type.
