Job Summary

This role is with ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH, a leading maritime high-technology company specializing in hydroacoustics, sensor technology, and information technology in Bremen. The Embedded Software Developer will be responsible for analyzing product and component requirements to specify embedded software and electronics concepts. Day-to-day tasks include developing embedded software for electronic assemblies, designing reusable software modules, and ensuring the technical feasibility and quality of both hardware and software through design and code analysis. A key function involves coordinating the development of individual software modules, integrating components into new or existing systems, and performing comprehensive system tests, validation, and verification. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Computer Science, possesses experience with System-on-Chip embedded systems, and is proficient in C, C++, Python, and Assembler, alongside fluent German and good English skills.
