The role requires the candidate to approve components based on material condition specifications, act as the central point of contact for material complaints across various departments (foundry, goods receipt, licensing, and production), and manage the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Key qualifications include a completed technical education or 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, practical laboratory skills, and strong knowledge of testing procedures, material structures, and heat treatment processes for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
