Job Summary

This role involves conceptualizing and developing various electrical systems for advanced conveyor technology, ensuring these systems are innovative, future-proof, and compliant with all relevant standards, safety requirements, and energy efficiency mandates. The Electrical Design Engineer will continuously monitor the market for new automation components and technologies, integrating them quickly through close collaboration with key suppliers. A significant part of the job includes driving process automation to automatically generate circuit diagrams and control-relevant documentation, as well as creating electrical design documents and templates using EPLAN. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field, possesses a holistic understanding of automation solutions from mechanical and electrical design to PLC control and digital twins, and is proficient in EPLAN. This position offers the chance to actively shape the future of automation solutions within a globally active machinery manufacturer specializing in sorting and sequencing systems for e-commerce and retail supply.
