Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a specialized team in Essen, focusing on complex machine and plant control systems. The core responsibilities involve creating detailed electrical schematics, wiring documentation, and cable/connection lists using the CAE system EPLAN P8. You will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning electrical components, including control cabinets, drive technology, PLC systems, sensors, and actuators, while ensuring strict adherence to relevant standards like IEC and DIN VDE. The position requires close collaboration with project management and other technical departments, offering significant scope for independent action and flexible working hours. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with solid professional experience in electrical design, ideally within mechanical, plant, or automation engineering.
