Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Technical Sales Specialist to drive the expansion of imaging and microscopy products, including capital equipment and consumables, across Southeast Germany and Austria. Day-to-day responsibilities involve applying deep technical knowledge in imaging/microscopy to engage customers at various organizational levels, influence purchasing decisions using solution-selling techniques, and meet or exceed revenue targets. The specialist will develop tailored proposals, coordinate technical presentations with internal teams, and actively pursue new lead generation opportunities. Key qualifications include a Master’s degree in a life science field (e.g., Cell Biology, Biochemistry) or equivalent experience, a strong technical background in imaging/microscopy, and the ability to manage complex, long sales-cycle opportunities. The position requires a willingness to travel 50% or more across the assigned territory and demands strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
