Job Summary

This role is ideal for a qualified Automation Technician or Engineer focused on the software engineering and commissioning of control systems for machinery and industrial plants. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the software development of controls and automation technology. Key day-to-day tasks include commissioning systems both in-house and on customer sites, collaborating closely with specialist departments to analyze results, and maintaining and managing control systems and software. Candidates should possess a degree or technical qualification in automation, control, or regulation technology, coupled with familiarity with modern measurement and control technology and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) like TIA Portal. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, and a willingness to travel for on-site commissioning, offering continuous development opportunities within a major engineering service provider.
