Job Summary

The City of Bad Segeberg is seeking a dedicated Digitalization Officer to drive the continuous development of its 'Digital Strategy 2030'. This role involves hands-on planning and coordination of various digitalization projects, ensuring the municipality meets critical legal requirements such as the Online Access Act (OZG) and E-Government laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing digital administrative processes, conducting needs assessments, and expanding internal and external communication networks, including inter-municipal cooperation. The officer will also coordinate IT and Document Management Systems (DMS) and provide crucial support and consultation to various departments and volunteers. Key qualifications include a relevant degree in Public Administration, Informatics, or Management, or certification as a Digitalization Officer, coupled with strong project management skills and expertise in process optimization, ideally using BPMN 2.0.
