Job Summary
This role involves supporting GIS services within the agricultural subsidy sector, focusing on the management and quality assurance of GIS data related to funding areas. The Specialist Administrator will be responsible for creating, updating, and providing GIS data for subsequent processes in agricultural subsidy procedures, specifically concerning the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EPLR). Key activities include conceptual support for the agricultural department through the analysis and evaluation of geodata. Candidates should possess a university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Geoinformatics or Computer Science, coupled with proven experience in GIS data analysis or working with geodatabases. The position requires an interest in GIS technologies, SQL database queries, and Web Feature Services (WFS) using XML, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to central geodata services in Brandenburg.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor) in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field in Vector/Raster Image Processing, Geodatabases, or GIS Scripting.
Experience
- Professional experience in GIS data analysis or working with geodatabases (evidenced by certificates, project descriptions, or professional activity records)
- Professional experience in the relevant field of tasks (if substituting for formal education)
