Job Summary
This role seeks a dynamic Data Engineer/Scientist passionate about Data Analytics and AI to join a modern consulting team in Cologne or Stuttgart. The position offers a challenging blend of technical engineering and analytical science, focusing on developing innovative, data-driven solutions for clients. Day-to-day tasks include designing, implementing, and operating scalable cloud data platforms using software-driven architecture and Infrastructure as Code. You will also be responsible for developing data-driven applications, APIs, and services for Big Data, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics use cases, leveraging advanced architectures like Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks (including Azure OpenAI Services). Key qualifications include proficiency in Python and other programming languages, experience with data modeling, and strong communication skills in German to lead customer workshops and consulting sessions. Education
Completed university degree, vocational training, or comparable qualifications in the IT field
Experience
- Professional experience in a similar Data Engineer/Scientist position or comparable practical experience.
- Experience in developing and operating scalable and secure data management solutions.
- Experience in Cloud Native Computing and with at least one major Cloud Provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is advantageous.
- Experience in developing software solutions for Analytics and AI Use Cases (Big Data, ML, Predictive Analytics).
