Job Summary

This role is a compelling opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect specializing in IP-Routing to join a high-tech software manufacturer focused on communication technology for the defense sector near Munich. The core responsibilities involve developing comprehensive IT concepts, creating configuration specifications for IT components and transmission systems (both hardware and software), and overseeing their implementation and commissioning. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, participating in, and evaluating field tests, and working closely with System Engineers and Architects. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields, significant experience integrating data transmission systems and networks, and deep expertise in IP-Routing, addressing, and network separation across various transmission media. Knowledge of L2/3 switch/router programming, Linux/Windows environments, and network services like SDN is essential. This full-time, permanent position offers attractive compensation and a flexible work arrangement allowing one day of home office per week.
