Job Summary

This role involves working as a Solution Architect specializing in IT system development for advanced communication technology within the defense sector, focusing heavily on IP-Routing and transmission media. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing comprehensive IT concepts, creating configuration specifications for IT components and transmission systems (both hardware and software), and overseeing the implementation, configuration, and commissioning processes. The architect will also prepare for, participate in, and evaluate field trials, working closely with System Engineers/Architects. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or related fields, professional experience integrating data transmission systems/networks, and specific knowledge of radio network planning and transmission media (like Rohde&Schwarz SDTR family). The position offers an opportunity to work on high-tech software for defense applications near Munich, requiring four days of office presence per week.
