Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Systems Engineer for the Post Flight Analysis System at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive requirements analysis and definition, including creating Software Requirement Specifications and managing requirements engineering. The engineer will define interfaces to critical avionics systems, such as mission management computers and EW sensors, and conduct impact analysis across the entire product lifecycle. A core task is defining the analysis of sensor data and system performance using advanced data analytic techniques, including correlation augmentation, to improve data analysis capability. The role requires developing executable test plans, supporting technical milestone reviews, and creating user operational manuals. Key qualifications include a degree in electrical engineering or computer science, professional experience in aviation systems/software engineering, and practical knowledge of machine learning, Python, and tools like DOORS, Jira, and Confluence. High proficiency in English and good German skills are required.
