Job Summary

This role is for a Commissioning Technician responsible for the hands-on setup, adjustment, and successful launch of complex technical systems. Daily tasks include conducting rigorous functional tests, optimizing system performance, and managing final acceptance procedures. A critical component of the role involves direct client interaction, coordinating testing and assembly processes on-site, creating detailed documentation (including acceptance protocols), and providing essential training to client personnel on the operation, handling, and maintenance of the new equipment. Key requirements include a technical background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, coupled with practical experience in system commissioning and strong fundamental knowledge of electrical, control, and automation technology, ideally including PLC or process control systems. The position requires good written and spoken English skills and a willingness to undertake worldwide travel for assembly assignments (approximately 6–12 weeks per year), making it an excellent fit for a technically skilled professional who enjoys international field work and direct client interaction.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or Industrial Electrician (e.g., Electronic Technician for Operational Technology, Mechatronics Technician). Additional qualification as a state-certified Technician is advantageous.
