Job Summary

This role involves working as a Design and Development Engineer/STTE Developer for a global market leader in sensor technology within the aerospace industry. The primary focus is the development, integration, and testing of simulators and specialized operating equipment (STTE) for sensor testing in laboratory environments and to support system integration. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with various development departments (Software, Firmware, Algorithms, Hardware), integrating and commissioning simulators at subsystem and system levels, and performing bug fixing and improvements on existing simulators. A key responsibility is the new development of software for specialized operating equipment for newly developed sensors. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications, coupled with professional experience in developing laboratory software and specific tools like LabWindows/CVI and Matlab App Designer. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a high degree of responsibility and organizational talent.
