Job Summary

This full-time Chemist role, acting as an assistant to the Laboratory Management, is based in Eberswalde (near Berlin) at a well-established environmental and waste management service provider accredited under DIN EN ISO 17025. The core responsibilities involve maintaining and enhancing quality standards, including drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conducting proficiency testing. The Chemist will be crucial in optimizing existing analytical methods and developing/implementing new, norm-compliant procedures. Day-to-day tasks also include supporting instrumental analysis using techniques like ICP-OES/-MS, GC/-MS, and HPLC, documenting results, and managing test reports. Furthermore, the role involves the maintenance and upkeep of testing equipment.
