Job Summary

This role is for an Industrial Mechanic to join Schmidt Schubert, working full-time in day shifts at a client site in Heek, with a strong possibility of permanent takeover by the client. The core responsibilities involve the assembly of complex subassemblies, components, and hydraulic/electrical systems. You will be responsible for quality control, ensuring individual trades are ready for shipment, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations throughout the assembly process. The ideal candidate must have a completed technical vocational training (such as Mechanic, Electrician, or Mechatronics Technician) and possess strong manual dexterity and technical comprehension. Experience interpreting technical drawings, parts lists, and piping/wiring diagrams is highly desirable. This position offers an attractive, permanent contract with competitive pay (€18.00 - €20.00 per hour) and excellent benefits, including shift bonuses and up to 30 days of vacation.
