Job Summary
This part-time role (16 hours/week) in the Revision staff unit of the City of Königswinter involves performing technical auditing and consulting tasks for municipal construction projects and technical facilities. The Technical Auditor will be responsible for reviewing the planning, cost estimation, execution, and billing of various construction measures, including new builds and existing structures. A key focus is the examination of supplementary contract management (Nachtragsmanagement) and the approval of performance bonds. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on structural or civil engineering (road and transport), and possesses at least four years of professional experience in tendering, billing, and site management. This position requires a high degree of objectivity, autonomy, and strong communication skills to present findings to the City Council, offering meaningful work within a flexible, regulated work environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Civil Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor of Science minimum), preferably in Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a specialization in Road and Transport, or a related field; alternatively, a university degree in Industrial Engineering/Construction with a specialization in Structural Engineering (Bachelor (Eng.|Sc.) or higher).
Experience
- Minimum four years of professional experience in tendering, billing, and site management of construction projects (new builds and existing measures)
- Professional experience in planning, calculation, and billing
- Experience with procurement law (Vergaberecht) is desirable
