This role involves the crucial technical commissioning and programming of modern Building Automation Systems (BAS) from the field level up to the management level. The Automation Technician will be responsible for creating the foundation for intelligent control of all building systems, primarily focusing on programming control and regulation logic using graphical programming languages within a proprietary development environment. Key responsibilities include integrating external components via industry-standard interfaces like ModBus, BACnet, and KNX, developing system visualizations, and managing the final acceptance and handover to the client. The ideal candidate possesses a technical education (Technician, Master Craftsman, or relevant degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering) coupled with solid knowledge of graphical programming and communication protocols.
