Job Summary

This Senior Technologist role at Leica Camera AG, a premium manufacturer based in Wetzlar, involves driving innovation in surface and optical coating technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for trend scouting, analyzing new materials and processes, and researching and developing advanced layer designs for optical, protective, and decorative applications. A core function is the transfer of new technologies into stable, high-volume production processes, including the implementation of Continuous Improvement Process (KVP), Lean, and 6Sigma measures. You will plan, execute, and evaluate laboratory tests, ensuring the performance of coating and cleaning systems.
