Job Summary

This role is perfect for a Data Scientist passionate about leveraging large datasets in an Azure environment to develop sophisticated, data-driven solutions for Finance and Controlling. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for developing models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and profitability, while scrutinizing international financial processes (closing, planning, reporting, tax, procurement) to identify optimization potential, often using Process Mining. A core part of the job involves designing and operating scalable data pipelines and models within Azure Databricks and the Financial Data Lake, ensuring high data quality and connecting relevant source systems. You will also integrate Generative AI components for tasks like document analysis and text-based management summaries. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a quantitative field, possesses strong statistical and Machine Learning knowledge, and is proficient in Python and Azure services, coupled with professional experience in the finance or accounting domain.
