Job Summary
This role involves the installation and commissioning of machinery, specifically focusing on hardwood processing equipment. The Electrical Engineering Technician will be responsible for executing electrical connection work, performing functional testing, and efficiently troubleshooting faults to ensure minimal downtime. A key part of the role is maintaining strict adherence to quality standards throughout all tasks. Candidates should possess a completed vocational qualification in an electrical engineering discipline (such as LAP, HTL, or Colleg) and ideally have prior experience in mechanical engineering or machine construction. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation, opportunities for free training and development, and a supportive team environment, though it requires flexibility for occasional 2-shift work, primarily operating between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
