Job Summary

This challenging role as a Grid Operations Engineer focuses on ensuring the secure and stable operation of high and medium-voltage power networks within a major regional distribution network operator. The successful candidate will utilize modern Redispatch software to continuously monitor the grid status, analyze network conditions, and implement necessary measures for optimization and stability. Key responsibilities include active communication and coordination with renewable energy plant operators and other network entities, contributing to the development of network control software, and implementing new digital tools for grid monitoring and control. This position requires a completed degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and professional experience in grid operation is highly desirable. Crucially, the role involves mandatory 3-shift operation (early, late, night shifts) and regular on-call duty, preceded by a structured 12-month intensive training period in the operational control center to ensure readiness for the demanding tasks.
